Aston, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Athletic Conference has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2006 fall season and 39 Neumann College athletes have been selected.

 

To be considered for the All-Academic Team an athlete must earn varsity status in their respective sport and earn a minimum semester grade point average (GPA) of 3.20.

 

Seniors Chantelle Knuttel (field hockey) and Sarah Tomlinson (women's tennis) have earned the honor for a fourth straight year. Juniors Nicholas Higgins (men's soccer), Barry Harvey (men's soccer), Gabriele Bendistis (field hockey), Abigail Bilski (field hockey), Chelsea Ward (field hockey) and Allison Hazewski (volleyball), were recognized for the third straight year.

Eight sophomores earned back to back honors and ten freshmen made a first time appearance on the 2006 Fall All-PAC Academic Team.
