Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - On Saturday, April 14, 2007 the Neumann College Knights (2-17, 2-12) lost both games in a double header at Gwynedd Mercy College (15-8, 8-5) 9 - 2 and 10 - 4.

Sophomore Mike Parry got the start in game 1 and pitched good enough to keep the Knights in the game. But errors on the field and not getting in a rhythm offensively held Neumann back from getting the necessary hits. Christopher Dascher started swinging the bat well going 3 - 4 with an rbi, but that was not enough to spark the Knights.

Senior Tim DeFilippis got the ball in game two and started off hot giving the Knights a chance to stay in the game. Once again errors hurt the Knights, and kept DeFilippis from getting into a rhythm. Senior Brian Chesnick carried the hot bat in game 2, going 2-3 with 2 rbi and 1 run scored.

The Knights will be on the field on April 17, in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference match up at the College of Misericordia. Game starts at 3:30 p.m.
