Box Score

Center Valley, Pa. - On Sunday April 22 DeSales University hosted Neumann College in a non-conference double header.  Sean Fitzgerald started on the hill in game one keeping the Knights in the game with a 3 - 1 lead going into the bottom half of the fourth inning. 

 

Even though the Knights out hit DeSales 10 - 8; the Knights made costly errors that caused them to lose the lead for the remainder of the game. The final of score of game one was 9 - 4.

 

Joseph Slater started game 2 surrendering 9 runs in 1 1/3 innings.  The Knights could not seem to put anything together with pitching, due to injury and not enough pitchers.  Game 2 ended with a score of 19 - 3 DeSales.

 

Marc Torriero held the hot bat for the Knights in both games going 4 - 6 with 3 RBI and one run scored on the day.  However that was not enough to keep the Knights afloat losing both games.  

 

The Knights will return to the field on Wednesday, April 25 at College Misericordia in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference match up.  Game will start at 3:30 P.M.
