Knights Earn First PAC Win of the Season

Pitcher Pat Boggs made it 3-0 on the year pitching 7 innings in today's 8-4 PAC win over Eastern University. Boggs gave up two runs on seven hits before reliever Ryan Aberts (Cardinal O'Hara/Aston, PA) took over in the 8th. Aberts closed out the game giving up 2 runs on 3 hits and walking two.

Aberts, playing well on both sides of the field, went three for four with two RBI's and a run scored to led the knights on the offensive. Neumann's Josh MacDonald (Hodgson Vo-Tech/Newark, DE) went two for three with two doubles and three runs scored while fresman Ryan Nason (Paul VI/ Voorhees, NJ) stepped up to add a double and three RBI's. Senior Sean Hackett (West Catholic HS/Philadelphia, PA) connected for two of three at bats and add an RBI in the 8-4 win for the Knights.
