July 21, 2005

Aston, PA - The Neumann Knights baseball alumni base grew a bit larger today as the Knights said good-bye to seniors Casey Snyder, Sean Hackett, and John Lafferty. The trio was honored for their hard work, dedication, and support of the Neumann Knights program over the last four seasons on Saturday, April 23, 2005.

Appearing in 96 games over his four years as a Knight, Casey Snyder had 38 hits, scored 8 runs and 8 RBI's. He was the 2004 PAC Athlete of the Year and 2005 team captain. Sean Hackett had 59 appearances, 164 at bats, 30 hits, and scored 24 runs including two homers during his four-year career as a Knight. Pitcher John Lafferty competed in 41 games and had 29 appearances behind the plate. He pitched 54 innings allowing 114 hits and striking out 22.

Snyder and Lafferty will be graduating from the College in May. Snyder will earn a degree in communication arts, while Lafferty will leave Neumann College with a degree in marketing.
