Neumann Wins Third Straight, Tops Marywood 99-69

Scranton, PA - Neumann College went on a 14-point run en route to their third straight PAC win on Monday evening in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Knights, now 9-7 overall and 6-3 in the PAC, defeated the Marywood University Pacers 99-69.

 

Neumann maintained a lead of no less than 11-points throughout most of the first and second half. The Knights led as much as 29-points in the first half and recorded a 42-point lead, their largest of the night, with 5:23 left to play in the game. Derahn Patrick, who is currently ranked 28th in three-point buckets, led Neumann with a career high 36 points and went 6 for 6 from behind the arc. He was joined in double figures by teammates Mike Hitchens (16), DJ Fritz (14) and Nasheed Linton (13).  

 

Neumann shot 57.6 percent for the game, converting 15 Pacer turnovers into 33 points and received 58-points from their bench in the conference bout.

 

The Knights will return to action on Thursday, January 25, in a PAC match up with Arcadia University at home.
