Dallas, Pa - The Neumann College men's basketball team dropped a PAC Conference game to College of Misercordia, 68-62, in Dallas, Pennsylvania this afternoon.

This game was a milestone game for one Neumann Knight.  Entering today's game Derahn Patrick was 6-points shy of 1,000 points.  In the second half of this afternoon's contest Patrick hit his milestone scoring his1,000th point on his third shot of game.

That may have been one of the only things that went well for the Neumann Knights this afternoon as the Knights could never get their game intact.  After trailing at the end of the first half, Neumann tried to work a comeback but, fell just short of the win in a fierce battle for playoff position, 68-62.

The Knights were led by Senior Ronnie Fields with 18 points. Contributing to his milestone day, Derahn Patrick chipped in with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal.

The Knights are back in action Monday, February 12th, 2007 against Cabrini College in Aston, Pa.  Tip-off is set for 8:00 pm.
