The Neumann Knights faced Catholic University in the Wyndham Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania this evening. In the opening game the Knights lost to Catholic University 85-73.

 

Neumann's Derahn Patrick scored a team high 18 points and 7 rebounds in the match up. Teammate Ronnie Fields added 16 and newcomer Darrell Floyd scored 14.

 

In a 37 point first half effort, the Knights shot 53% from the field, however they trailed by 3, 40-37.

 

Catholic extended their lead in the second half, shooting 52 percent from the field while Neumann's shooters cooled off shooting only 38 percent.

 

Neumann will continue their weekend at the Wyndham Tip-Off Tournament tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.
