PAC Announces Golf Regular Season Awards

After finishing their season as the runner-up for the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship for the third year in a row, three Neumann Knights were named to the PAC All-Conference men's golf team.

The Knights led at the half-way point but were unable to fend off a red hot Cabrini team. The Knights shot a 644 to Cabrini's 635.

Neuamann Finishes Fourth at the Wesley Spring Invitational

After the final round of competition, the Neumann Knights made a fourth place finish for the Wesley Spring Invitational. At the end of day one, Neumann was behind Villa Julie by five strokes but was able to come from behind and finished with a total score of 654 passing Villa Julie by ten.

Wyoming, DE- After the first round of competition, the Neumann Knights are sitting in the middle of the pack in the Wesley Spring Invitational.

Greg Warrington came in eight strokes over par and behind the match leader of Wesley College. Teammate Mark Van Vliet is just 10 over par and only two strokes behind Warrington.

Mike Marenic is currently tied for 19th with a score of 84. Senior Joseph Coffey has a one-day total of 87 and Erik Stoyanavich rounds out the Knights with a score of 94 after the first day of the tournament.

The Knights shot 333 in the first round good enough for fourth place. They have some ground to make up as they are five strokes off of third place team, Villa Julie and 36 away from leader and host, Wesley College.

The teams will finish play at the tournament today with starting tee times of 8:00 a.m.

The Knights scored a team total of 341. Mike Marenic was the leader for the Knights with a score of 80 just 8 strokes off the leader.

Neumann College's Mark Van Vliet (Sr., Dorchester, ONT) was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Golfer of the Week for the week ending March 23rd.
