The Neumann Knights Men's Golf Team Records Their Third Field Leading Finish of the Season. :: Freshman Shane Howey cards his third top five finish of his collegiate career.

The Neumann Knights men's golf team finished 1^st at the Lebanon Valley College Spring Golf Tournament at Lebanon Country Club (Par 72) this afternoon.

Even under threatening skies, the course conditions at Lebanon Valley Country Club were excellent. Mike Marenic's score of 75 placed him second out of 102 golfers in the 20 team tournament, followed by Shane Howey in third with a score of 76. As a team Neumann shot a 315 just one stroke in front of second place finisher Delaware Valley College and 19 stokes in front of tournament host Lebanon Valley College.

The Knights were led by newcomers Mike Marenic and Shane Howey in today's match up. Their scores, combined with that of Greg Warrington (81), and Joseph Coffey (83) were enough to lead the Knights to the first place finish.

Neumann will return to action on Wedneday, April 5 when they will be hosted by Widener University at Springhaven Country Club.
