Neumann Takes 2nd Place at Lebanon Valley College Spring Invitational

Knights beat out 21 teams to take hold of 2nd place.

Lebanon, Pa. - The Knights scored a team total of 331, two shots behind 1st place Dickinson College in the Lebanon Valley College Spring Invitational at Lebanon Country Club on Tuesday. Four PAC teams: Alvernia, Cabrini, Misericordia, and Eastern were included in the 21 teams bested by Neumann.

 

Neumann's success on the field was due to the tight grouping of junior Mark Van Vliet (80), junior Greg Warrington (82), and sophomore Mike Marenic (82).  Junior Joe Coffey rounded out the four man total with an 87.

 

The Knights will return to action on April 9 at Rolling Green Country Club. Tee-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
