Van Vliet leads on the final day of play
 
Neuamann Finishes Fourth at the Wesley Spring Invitational

Wyoming, DE- After the final round of competition, the Neumann Knights made a fourth place finish for the Wesley Spring Invitational. At the end of day one, Neumann was behind Villa Julie by five strokes but was able to come from behind and finished with a total score of 654 passing Villa Julie by ten.

 

Mark Van Vliet was Monday's leader and two day 158 total was good enough to tie for ninth place. Van Vliet was 11 storkes of the winner of the invitational who was just 3 over par. Teammate Greg Warrington was just one stroke off of Van Vliet's totals with 15 over par. Mike Marenic finishes the two day outing tied for 18th place out of 40 competitors. Joseph Coffey came in with a score of 88, just one over his score from yesterday and Erik Stoyanvich shaved 10 strokes off of his score from day one with the help of an eagle on the first hole. He finished with a two day total of 176.

 

The Knight's Season record stands at 39-23-1 overall and 9-2 in the PAC.

 

 

The Knights are back on the road for the PAC Championship at the Center Valley Country Club in Center Valley, PA IN April 26th.
