Center Valley, P.A - At the final day of the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Golf Championship, held at the Center Valley Country Club, in Center Valley, P.A., the Neumann Knights golf team placed second in the two day event. After firing a 316 in the opening round on Monday, the Knights shot a 319 during the second round Tuesday to end with a combined score of 635.

 

After carding a collegiate career best round (73) during the opening round, sophomore Greg Warrington finished third overall. Warrington, who was tied for first after the first day of competition, fired an 80 on day two as he ended with a two day total of 153 to place third over all at the Championship. 

 

Junior Matt LaPenta tied for 8^th (80-80 160), Joe Coffey (80 84 164), and Shane Howey shared the 15^th spot, while freshman Mike Marenic completed the Knights scoring with a 92 (78 170).

 

At the conclusion of the tournament Warrington and Marenic were named to the All-PAC First and Second team respectively as the Knights officially ended their season.
