F & M hosted a nine (9) team two day event at Pilgrim's Oak Golf Course in

Peach Bottom, Pa. A par 72 course played at 6700 yards. The event was held on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14 & 15.

 

Neumann lagged behind in 8^th place after scoring a team total of 344 at the end of the first day. The Knights' second day effort proved more successful. Sophomore Michael Marenic led the effort shooting the team's low round of 75. Team Captain Matt LaPenta shot 80, while teammate Joseph Coffey shot 82, and Brian McCulla added an 83 to the second day total of 320, a score that boosted Neumann to the middle of the pack on the second day of play.

 

This afternoon's contest marks the final fall contest for the Knights. Neumann will start regular season play in February, 2007.
