Senior Mark Van Vliet was one of 10 Knights honored
 
Ten Knights Honored to ECAC West All- Academic Team

Aston, Pa. - The ECAC has announced their 2008 ECAC Men's West All Academic Team. Forty athletes from the ECAC West, including 10 from the Neumann Knights, were honored with this year's award.

The Knights' Mark Van Vliet (Dorchester, Ontario), Sean Cryer (Brampton, Ontario), Donovan Hall (Wishart, Saskatchewan), Jeff Nuttall (Campbell River, British Columbia), Ryan Heickert (Oshawa, Ontario), Kyle Casey (Stratford, Ontario), Jesse Cole (Stratford, Ontario), Lincoln-Kaleigh Schrock (Fort Wayne, Indiana), Brock Van Slyke (Ingersoll, Ontario), and Erik Stoyanovich (London, Ontario) were recognized by the ECAC West Conference for achieving academic success.

To be named to the All-Academic team, the student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and have competed in at least one-half of his team's contests during the current season (a goaltender must have played at least 33 percent of his team's minutes).
