Down 7-4 in the fourth, the Knights' Brian Friel ( DeSales won the ensuing face-off and proceeded to try and run the clock out on the offensive end. After a turnover, DSU had two chances to regain possession of the ball but both clear attempts were intercepted by the Knights. With 16 seconds left on the clock, Neumann's Ryan McCauley ( DSU won the face-off to start the first overtime period but after calling a timeout to set up a play the Bulldogs failed to get a shot off before turning it over to the Knights. Neumann College used a timeout on the other end and following the timeout Nate Eber (Syracuse, NY (Corcoran) fired a shot from about 15 yards out on the right side of the net that screamed past the DeSales keeper and into the net for the game-winner. Neumann enjoyed a 39-32 edge in total shots and grabbed 52 ground balls to just 36 for DeSales. Junior Ben Conroy ( R.
