The Neumann Knights Men's Lacrosse team (2-1, 0-0 PAC) hosted conference rival Wesley Wolverines (3-2, 0-0 PAC) Saturday afternoon. The Wolverines came out of the gates flying, building a 4-0 lead by the end of the first quarter, and a 6-0 lead by the half. Wesley controlled the first half out chancing the Knights 16-4.

Junior Ryan McCauley led the Knights in the second half, coming out looking like a new team. Ryan scored his first goal at the 3:00 mark of the third quarter to ruin Wesley's hopes of a shutout.

Down 9-1 entering the fourth quarter Neumann did not go down quietly. Ryan McCauley scored his second at 7:48 of the fourth quarter and his third at 1:58 to complete his hat trick and cut Wesley's lead to 12-3. Neumann found a way to create more offence in the second half and got more balls to the net. Final scoring chances were 36-18 in favor of Wesley.

Neumann will return to action on next Saturday when they host College Misericordia in PAC action at 3:00 p.m.
