April 11, 2005 - Buffalo, NY - Taking on Medaille College the Neumann College Men's Lacrosse team gained its first victory of the season. With a one goal lead headed into the fourth quarter the Knights elevated their level of play and outscored Medaille five to two in the final period. With a 10-6 victory in hand the Knights presented Coach Heller with his first victory as head coach.

Leading the way for the Knights was a pair of seniors who accounted for 70 % of Neumann's goals. Schneider scored 4 goals while Robbins added 3. Coach Heller shared these comments during the post game, "This is a big win for us. This was a long way for us to travel. I was worried about the length of the trip but our guys came to play. They fought off the weather, the long bus trip and really showed a lot of heart and courage."
