Sept. 30, 2006

Box Score

Reading, Pa.-The Neumann College men's soccer team fell to Alvernia College 4-1 this afternoon in Reading, Pennsylvania.

The two teams were tied a 1-1 just after the start of the second half, due to the efforts of Cody Conk and Barry Harvey. Harvey's perfectly sent pass allowed Conk to take control and put the ball past the Crusader's keeper, into the back corner of the goal for the 1-1 tally.

Alvernia (4-0 PAC 7-2-1) broke open a close game with three second-half goals, gaining a 4-1 win over the Knights. Concluding the game, Neumann had 4 shots, including three by Conk and one from Harvey.

The Knights are back in action October 4th when they host Albright College in non-conference action at 3:30 p.m.
