Knights Falter after Late Drama, 1-0

Oct. 3, 2007

Final Stats

Aston, Pa.-A dramatic last minute penalty kick by Keystone College's men's soccer team (6-5) gave Neumann (5-3-3) a 1-0 loss in La Plume, Pa. in a non conference match up.

Both teams played an even game for nearly ninety minutes with Neumann holding a 12-11 advantage in shots. However, Keystone's Karl Digbeu converted a penalty kick in the 89th minute of play to seal the victory for Keystone State.

Neumann goalie Zack Ratliff saved six shots during the game but could not stop the penalty kick late on.

Knights look to get back on track on Monday in Aston, Pa. against Widener University.
