ASTON, Pa. - Neumann's Men's Soccer team took on PAC competitor College Misericordia this afternoon but fell to the Cougars by a final score of 4-0.

The first goal of the game occurred in the first two minutes of play when Cougar's forward Max Campbell put one past Neumann goalkeeper Josh Williams (Lansdowne, Pa.), with help from teammate Colin Hynes, 1:42 into the game.  Campbell gave Misericordia the lead on the Knights, 1-0.  Neumann came close to tying the game when Barry Harvey (Aston, Pa.) released a shot just high of the Cougars' net.  33:14 into the game, Misericordia's Max Campebell struck again for his team, giving the Cougars a 2-0 lead.

The second half of the game resulted in two more goals for the Cougars.  The third and fourth goals were both scored by Cougar Tyler Mensch, ending Misericordia's scoring pattern and concluding the game with a score of 4-0.

The Knights will return to action Wednesday, October 11th at 4:00 p.m. when they take on Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
