In the first half the Knights looked strong holding the Blazers to just three offensive scoring opportunities. The Knights defense was able to repel two of the three shots while starting goalkeeper Luke Devlin (Huntingdon Valley, PA/Calvary Christian) was able to successfully block the other from the net making it a 0-0 game going into the half.

In the second half frustration began to show as both teams played to win. Hood's Brandon Garton received a yellow card at the 56:42 mark followed by Neumann's Mike Bees (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) receiving the next yellow caution at 62:05. Unfortunately for the Knights their frustration got the best of them as Barry Harvey (Aston, PA/Chichester) drew a red card in the 68^th minute giving the Blazers the scoring opportunity that they needed to win the game. Hood's Guillaume Farges scored the game winning goal on a Blazer penalty kick that went to the right side post. Despite out shooting the blazers 14 to 5 the Knights could not find the net.
