Box Score

Neumann College had no trouble bouncing back from Sunday's 9-0 loss to LVC when they were hosted by the Griffins of Chestnut Hill College this afternoon. Neumann swept all three doubles matches and then went on to win all six single matches sweeping the Griffins 9-0.

 

Neumann's Dan Harnos and John Slinka earned the No. 1 doubles point 9-7. Matthew Ford and Barry Harvey record an 8-3 decision at No. 2 and Andrew Bitar and Steve Klenk rounded out doubles play with an 8-0 win at No. 3.

 

Neumann won five of six singles matches in straight sets. John Slinka (6-3, 6-1), Matthew Ford (6-1, 6-2), Andrew Bitar (6-2, 6-2), Barry Harvey (6-0, 6-0) and Steve Klenk (6-0, 6-1) put the game firmly in Neumann's favor. Dan Harnos went into a tie breaker 1-6, 6-1, 10-6, but came out on top to give Neumann their 6^th point of the day.

 

The Knights will return to action at 3:30 p.m. on March 28, at Alvernia College.
