Aston, Pa. - The NCAA Men's Tennis Championship brackets were released last night. As the newly crowned conference champion the Neumann College men's tennis team received the AQ. The Knights will travel to the University of Mary Washington for a Friday morning match. The Knights were given the 5th seed in the regional. They will take on fourth seeded Stevens Institute. The opening round match will be played on Friday, May 2nd at 9 a.m. The winner of the match will advance to take on number seeded Trinity (Tx) on Saturday. Trinity is also the number one team in the country according to ITA rankings. Trinity comes in to the NCAA tournament with a 12-2 record. The other reginonal match-ups include third seeded Washington and Lee University taking on sixth seeded Messiah College at 11 a.m. on Friday. The winner of that match will advance to play second seed and host institution Mary Washington on Saturday. |
