In the opening minutes of the half the Knights started out fast with an 11-0 scoring drive giving them a demanding lead. However, the Ramblers answered back with a 6-0 scoring drive of their own to keep the game close. From then on the Knights and the Ramblers battled back in fourth until the closing 4:00 of the half when the Knights went on another 11-0 scoring drive to give them a 14 point lead at the end of the half. On defense, Kim Hinkle kept up her great play causing problems in the Ramblers offensive zone with 4 steals that converted into Neumann points. In the second half, the Knights continued with their fast game play and good ball movement in the offensive zone keeping the Knights on top. The Knights defense continued causing problems for the Ramblers who were trying to chip away at a lead that just kept growing for the Knights. Syreeta Brown (13 points, 5 assists) and Brittany Whetts (12 points, 5 assists) were the Knights offensive key players in their victory over the Ramblers. Kim Hinkle's (4 steals, 7 assists) tenacious play on defense has kept the Knights competitive game in and game out and contributed to the 87-66 victory for the Knights this evening.
