Neumann shot 41.7 percent in the first half, holding the lead over the Seahawks for most of the half. The Knights' largest lead came with just 59 seconds remaining after Mary Beth Szczesny shot a left side ball, good for three and Ashley Pearsall followed with a field goal off a Kylynn McNichol assist. The Seahawks battled back to end the first half down one, 23-22. Neumann's Dorothy Rozier opened the scoring for Neumann in the second half followed by Brittany Whetts who had assistance from Knights' senior Kim Hinkle forming a 27-24 lead over the visitors. However, after battling back and forth the Knights were unable to stop the Seahawks from going on a 10-point run late in the second half. Neumann closed out the game down 56-46.
