Aston, Pa - Brittany Whetts has been named the ECAC Division III South Basketball Player of the Week and, the PAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Whetts was recognized by both organizations for her performance during the week ending December 3.

The Philadelphia, Pa. native had a terrific week as she averaged 21.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in three games for the Knights. Whetts recorded career-highs in both points and rebounds as she posted 27 points against non-conference opponent Penn State University Berks Monday and 16 rebounds against conference-opponent Wesley College Saturday.

The Bartram High School graduate is currently atop the Knights scoring leaders averaging 15.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

This is the first ECAC honor for Whetts and the Knights this season.
