This is Whetts' second ECAC honor of her career
 
Honors Continue to Roll in for Neumann's Whetts

Aston, Pa. - Freshman Brittany Whetts has earned the ECAC South Player of the Week nod for the second consecutive week, as announce by the Eastern College Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

 

The Philadelphia native came just shy of breaking the Knights all-time single game scoring record, scoring 42 points in a 73-67 overtime win against FDU-Florham in Madison, New Jersey on Saturday, December 16. Earlier that week Whetts scored 9 points grabbed 10 rebounds in a 64-51 win over King's College and scored 11 points against PAC rival Arcadia University.

 

The 5-10 marketing major has led the Knights in 6 of 9 games this season, in both points and rebounds, averaging 17.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.

 

Whetts and the Knights will return to action on Tuesday, December 19 at home against Saint Mary's College of Maryland. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
