Carol Di Girolamo has been a fixture in the Neumann College Athletic Department since the fall of 2000. As the winningest coach in field hockey history, Coach Di Girolamo led the program to its first ever Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament appearance in just her second year at the helm. Her teams have earned numerous ECAC and PAC Conference honors as well as All-PAC and NFHCA All-Academic honors.

Coach Di Girolamo earned her Bachelors degree in history from Alvernia College in 1998. While at Alvernia, she was a four-year starter in field hockey and two-year elected captain. During her playing career with the crusaders Di Girolamo earned numerous honors including the team MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and PAC All-Conference honors.

In 2000, Coach Di Girolamo earned her masters degree in sport administration from Temple University. Prior to her hire as an assistant director of athletics and head field hockey coach at Neumann, Di Girolamo worked at the First Union Center and for the Philadelphia Phillies. Di Girolamo is a member of the ECAC Championship selection committee and has also volunteered with the United States Field Hockey Association at their National Indoor Tournament and the National Field Hockey Festival.
