Courtesy of Carolyn Fauteux, Neumann College Sports Information - The first half resulted in several scoring chances at both ends; however neither team could capitalize to gain the lead. Heading into the second half, intensity picked up between both teams, but both teams still could not put one past either goalkeeper. The game ran into two further periods, resulting into a tiring 4 periods of competitive game. The peak of excitement occurred after 100 minutes of play, when both teams took the field to compete in a shoot out. The Knights' Abi Bilski shot first, but her shot went wide. The Lady Rams took the field next, when Allisin Wagner tried to put one past the Kucheruck, however her shot was denied. Rachel Mease stepped up next for the Knights, with a low shot, but goal keeper Jessica Snyder stopped the shot with no problems. The Lady Rams' Alyson Pires was the first to break the ice when she put one past Kucheruck, giving the Lady Rams a lead. Neumann's Ashlee Hodge quickly answered back with the first goal for the Knights.
