ASTON, Pa. - Friday, September 29^th, the Knights took the field to compete in a PAC conference game against Rosemont College on Bruder Field.  The Knights came out strong, scoring 3 goals in the first 10 minutes of play.  Amanda Biagi started the Knights' scoring off at 3:09, with assistance from offensive teammate Rachel Mease, giving the Knights the lead and resulting in the eventual game-winner.  Michelle Coderre and Rachel Mease strengthened the Knights' lead with goals at times of 5:41 and 6:39, respectively.  Before the conclusion of the first half, Kerri Sinclair and Chelsea Ward both put one past Rosemont's goalkeeper Kelly Cione at 20:53 and 27:52.

 

Neumann did not let up by any means as they headed into the second half. The Knights energetically took control of the field, which led to five more goals in the game.  The sixth goal of the game occurred at 36:51 when Lauren Hood tipped one in from Ashlee Hodge's shot.  Lindsey Graham scored next for the Knights, at 41:11, putting the Knights up 7-0.  The game concluded with a score of 10-0 in favor of the Knights, with contribution from several Neumann players.

 

The Knights will take action next on Monday, October 2^nd, 2006 at King's College in Wilkes Barre, Pa. for a non-conference game at 4:00 p.m.
