ASTON, Pa. - Sophomore field hockey player Lauren Hood (Norristown, Pa. /Kennedy-Kenrick) was named to the PAC Conference Weekly Honor Roll her efforts from September 16-22.

Hood scored 3-goals and 1 assist for the field hockey team in a 2-1 week. Against Arcadia, Hood set up the first goal of the game which sparked a 3-2 victory over the Knights' former PAC opponent on Monday. She then scored her 6th, 7th, and 8th goal of the season in a 4-3 overtime loss to Division II opponent Philadelphia University. The Knights ended the week on a high note, recording a 1-0 conference win at Immaculata University on Saturday.

Hood joins women's soccer standout Casey Geary and men's soccer forward Jesse Urquhart on the PAC honors wall this season. Geary was named to the honor roll with Hood this week and Urquhart was awarded PAC Player of the Week honors for week ending Sept. 10, 2007.
