NC Women's Field Hockey Player Amanda Biagi Named First team All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference

Nov. 17, 2005

Aston, PA - Neumann College women's field hockey player Amanda Biagi (Bellmawr, NJ/Paul VI) was named to the First team All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference.

Biagi, a second year knights forward, had a solid season in 2005 with 12 goals and 6 assists (30 pts.). The sophomore ranked first on the team in all three scoring categories. Biagi also reached a career milestone in 2005, as she recorded the career record for all-time assists per game (.32) and points per game (1.58).

Chantelle Knuttel was nominated by Head Coach Carol Di Girolamo as the Knights selection to the 2005 All-PAC Sportsmanship Team. This is Knuttel's second sportsmanship honor as a Knight. The announcement came Thursday by PAC Commissioner Amy Frankenstein.

Both the All-Conference team and individual award winners were chosen through voting conducted among head coaches at the PAC member institutions.
