Feb. 26, 2007 - Sophomore forward Carly Fitzsimmons has been named to the ECAC West All-Conference team as announce by Interim Commissioner Stephen R. Bamford. The team is voted on by the coaches of the league each year.

 

Fitzsimmons, who led the Knights to a fourth-place finish in the ECAC West conference tournament, scored 16 goals and had 10 assists this season. She is ranked 3^rd in the ECAC West in goal scoring, 4^th in power play goals, 6^th in point scoring and 7^th in game winning goals.

 

Nationally the Capreol, Ontario native is ranked 5^th in Power play goals and 17^th in goals per game among all NCAA Division III athletes.

 

Neumann ended its season 10-13-1 and 8-6 in the conference. The Knights appeared in their fourth straight ECAC West Tournament but fell in the semi-final against SUNY Plattsburgh, 3-1.
