The Neumann Women's Hockey ended their season in a loss to The Knights were led by Jessica Schroeder a freshman who tallied 27 points in 25 games for Neumann. Schroeder scored 18 goals and had 9 assists on the season. Junior defensemen Robyn Armstrong was second on the team as she tallied 24 points in 25 games. Armstrong had 8 goals and 16 assists for the Knights. Captain Carolyn Fauteux tallied 7 goals and 13 assists for a total of 20 points on the season. Fauteux a three year captain of the Knights will leave the Knights when she graduates in May. Also leaving the Knights are Samantha May, Teresa White, Jess McCallister, Chelsea Ward, Kristine Gauither, Leah Eyerman, and Kaitlin Hein. The Knights though have a young core of freshmen who played a critical role for the them to make the playoffs. Freshman Mel Brunet saved a total of 739 shots with year with a save percentage of .939 and 2.54 goals against average.
To cap of a tremendous season, three Knights were recognized for the ECAC West All-Conference teams. Robyn Armstrong was voted on the first team as a defender. Freshmen Jessica Schroeder and Mel Brunet were named to the All-Rookie team as a Forward and Goalie, respectively. Mel Brunet was also named as the ECAC Women's West Co-Rookie of the year.
