This is the fifth year the ECAC has released an All-Acacdemic Team
 
Knights Earn Credit from the ECAC West Conference for Achieving Academic Success

Team Captains Carolyn Fauteux, Jenelle Marier and Samantha May help to set the example for the Knights program.

 

Aston, Pa. - The ECAC has announced their 2006-2007 ECAC Women's West All Academic Team. Thirty-eight athletes from the ECAC West, including twelve from the Neumann Knights were honored with this year's award.

 

"Though our season expands over two semesters and is both physically and mentally demanding, our academics have never been compromised. Our team continuously strives for excellence both on and off the ice and this is truly a compliment to our team, coaches and faculty," stated team captain Carolyn Fauteux.

 

Neumann Knights Teresa White (Salem, Ore.), Jenelle Marier (Sudbury, Ontario), Kaitlin Hein (West Chester, Pa.), Tiffany Baker (West Chester, Pa.), Samantha May (Whitestone, N.Y.), Jessica McAllister (Philadelphia, Pa.), Kristin Gauthier (Warwick, R.I.), Robyn Armstrong (Sudbury, Ontario), Carolyn Fauteux, (Aurora, Ontario), Carly Fitzsimmons, (Capreol, Ontario) Chelsea Ward (Willingboro, NJ) and Laura Sutherland (North Bay, ONT) were the Knights' recipients of the 2006-07 award.

 

Student-athletes earn placement on the ECAC West All-Academic Team by attaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The ECAC West is comprised of eight teams between New York and Pennsylvania.
