Knight's Release 2007-2008 Schedule

ASTON, Pa. - The Neumann College athletic department has announced that it has finalized its women's ice hockey schedule for the 2007-2008 season.

 

The Knights will play 13 regular season games at the Ice Works Quad Rinks in Aston, Pennsylvania, including matches against ECAC West Conference foes Buffalo State (Nov. 17-18), SUNY Oswego (Dec. 1-2), SUNY Cortland (Jan. 26-27) and R.I.T. (Feb. 22-23).

 

Neumann will play six contests against teams which qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season including, 2006-07 NCAA Division III champion and runner-up, Plattsburgh State and Middlebury College.

 

Neumann will open its season at home on Oct. 27 in a weekend double header against Adrian College.  

 

The Knights will face Plattsburgh State (Nov. 3-4) on the road before returning home to host Buffalo State (Nov. 17-18) and SUNY Oswego (Dec. 1-2).  The following week, the Knights will travel to New York to compete against SUNY Cortland (Dec. 7) and Hamilton College (Dec. 8) in their final weekend of play before the Holiday break.

 

In 2008 Neumann will host Williams, Hamilton, and SUNY Cortland at home before embarking on a six-game road trip that will end in Utica, New York on Feb. 17.

 

The Knights will close out the regular season at home against R.I.T. who will battle the Knights for the first time as a conference opponent on Feb. 22.

 

This year's ECAC West Tournament is slated for Mar. 1-9, while the first round of the NCAA Tournament is scheduled for the weekend of Mar. 14 at sites to be determined.
