ASTON, Neumann looks to make it back to the conference championships this season after falling to No. 1 Plattsburgh in the semifinal of the tournament championship last season. The appearance in the conference tournament marked the fourth straight for the Knights. Neumann wrapped up the season with an 12-10-2 overall record, marking its' second best record in the program's six year history. The Knights are returning 16 letter winners from last year's squad, Including starting forward and 05-06 points leader Carly Fitzsimmons. Fitzsimmons scored 11 goals for the Knights last season and added 12 assists. Fitzsimmons, who ranks in the top 100 nationally for goals, assists and points, was named to the All-ECAC West Academic Team in 2005-2006.
