ASTON, Pa. - Jessica Schroeder (Sudbury, ONT.) was named Honorable Mention Rookie of the Week while fellow teammate Robyn Armstrong (Sudbury, ONT.) was selected as Honorable Mention Player of the Week as announced by the ECAC Hockey Women's West Conference on Tuesday. It is the first conference honor of the season for both players, and the first Neumann recognition of the year. For the weekend Neumann registered its first two conference victories of the season, defeating SUNY Oswego 4-3 (Dec. 1) and 5-1 (Dec. 2). Schroeder tallied 2 goals and added an assist for 3 points in a 5-1 win over Oswego State on Sunday. Armstrong scored the game winning goal in a 4-3 win over Oswego State on Saturday and contributed 2 assists is a 5-1 win over Oswego Sunday afternoon. Neumann will return to action on Friday, in Cortland, New York. The Knights and the Red Dragons will take to the ice on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Neumann will then travel to Clinton, New York for a 3:00 p.m. face off with Hamilton College.
