Neumann Tops Arcadia 14-5

Final Stats

Aston, Pa.-The Neumann Knights (7-2, 6-2 PAC) recorded a 14-5 victory against the Arcadia Knights (2-7, 2-5 PAC) on Friday Afternoon.  Neumann broke way after the halftime whistle, out scoring Arcadia 7-1.

 

In the first half, Rachel DiCicco scored for the home side first, followed by Gabby D'Ambrosio, to make it 2-0 within the first 5 minutes.  Then a free position shot by Arcadia's Shannon Bustin made it a 2-1 game.  After that, Neumann started to pull away adding 5 more goals before half time.  Gabby D'Ambrosio completed a hat trick with two mintues left in the 1st half to make it 7-3 Neumann.  Arcadia's Melanie Mark scored with 1:30 to end the half 7-4.

 

In the second half, Neumann scored five consecutive goals making the score 12-4 before Arcadia could answer.  Dominque Thompson added two in this span and Nicole Feby, Cournety Murphy, and Rachel DiCicco each added one. From there Neumann never looked back.  Rachel Dicicco and Dominque Thompson both finished off hat tricks in the second half to the lead the Knights to a 14-5 victory.
