Box Score

St. Davids, Pa. -- The Neumann College women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-5 decision to Eastern University in PAC Conference action Tuesday Afternoon. With the loss, the Knights drop to 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the PAC while Eastern moves to 8-2 and 7-1 in the PAC.

The Knights went goal for goal with the Eagles in the opening minutes of play. Neumann received goals from Courtney Murphy and Dominique Thompson to tie the score at two all. Thompson added a second goal at 15:43 however; the Knights' scoring tactics seemed to stall after that. Eastern went on a 10-goal scoring run en route to a 17-5 final.

The Knights' final two goals of the afternoon came late in the second half from Gabby D'Ambrosio who leads the Knights with 41 goals so far this season.

Neumann will be back in action at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday in a PAC match up against Cabrini College at home.
