An early goal three minutes in to the game by Dominique Thompson gave the Knights a 1-0 lead. Misericordia then tied up the game up at 11:59 but Neumann answered quickly, scoring three consecutive goals by Gabby D'Ambrosio, Dominique Thompson, and Nicole Feby to take a 4-1 lead. Misericordia answered right back scoring two goals of their own by Jessy Schwenk and Kathryn Wallace. The Knights then expanded their lead back to three with goals from Collen Finnegan and Courtney Murphy. As halftime approached, the Knights' Colleen Finnegan scored to give Neumann a 7-4 lead at half. Kerri Sinclair got Neumann started in the second half scoring 2:10 in the half but Misericordia answered with a goal by Shannon Tinkham to keep Misericordia within three. The Knights struck back scoring an unanswered six goals growing their lead to 14-5. Misericordia made a four goal run that was halted by Kerri Sinclair on a free position shot giving the Knights control and a 15-9 lead.
Misericordia added three goals late in the game to cut the lead to 15-12 but Neumann's Gabby D'Ambrosio came up big for the Knights scoring the final goal of the day at with less then a minute to go to put the game away 16-12. With the win Neumann advances to the PAC Championship Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday, May 2 at Game Notes: -Neumann defeated College Misericordia 14-13 in double overtime during the regular season.
