Women's Lacrosse Falls in PAC Semifinal

Radnor, Pa- The Women's Lacrosse team fell to Cabrini College in the PAC semifinal on Wednesday afternoon 19-6.  The Knights showed immense effort but could not contain the high powered attack of the Cavaliers.

Neumann fell behind early allowing two goals in less then a minute of action.  Cabrini did not stop scoring, tallying 11 unanswered goals to finish the first half of play 13-0.  The Cavaliers' attack was led by Erin Nollen, Kerri Ricker, and Katelyn Penrose who each recorded a hat trick in the first half.

The Knights got on the board in the second half after receiving a goal by Gabby D'Ambrosio and two from Dominique Thompson but Cabrini fired back adding three of their own to put them on top 16-3.  Gabby D'Ambrosio recorded a hat trick late in the second half and a late goal by Kerri Sinclair finished the scoring for the Knights.

With the loss the Knights complete their 2006-2007 campaign.  The Knights will be returning all their players next season for the 2007-2008 campaign.
