Breat Cancer Awareness Day Against Eastern

April 9, 2008

Aston, PA - The Neumann women's lacrosse team will "Shoot for the Cure" on Saturday, April 12, as the Lady Knights take on the Eastern University Eagles in a 1:00 p.m. contest at Bruder Fields their effort to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. The teams will be wearing pink shoe laces and hair ribbons and Neumann will be wearing pink warm-up t-shirts.

Several opportunities are available for fans of both teams to be involved and donate to help the Knights raise awareness:

- Wearing pink to the match to show their support

- Pledging a dollar amount per Neumann and/or Eastern free position shots made to be collected at the end of the match

- Making a flat donation that will be collected at half time

The Lady Knights will donate the teams' gift contribution to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Go Knights!
