Aston, Pa-The Neumann College women's lacrosse team finished up the regular season with a 9-4 overall record and a 6-4 mark in the PAC.  The Knights have earned the No. 4 seed into the PAC Championship Tournament and the right to host the first round of the tournament on Saturday, April 28 at 1:00 pm against College Misericordia.

 

In regular season play, the Knights were led by the goal scoring ability of Gabby D'Ambrosio who finished the regular season with 39 goals and averaged 4.33 GPG.  Goaltending also played a key role, as Catlin O'Shea recorded a .533 save percentage and averaged 10.78 saves per game.

 

There was history made by the Knights this season.  Courtney Murphy broke the all time caused turnovers record with 128 beating out Samantha Lafferty's 126 turnovers.  Also Gabby D'Ambrosio broke the single game scoring record, recording eight goals against Alvernia College on March 24.

 

This Saturday the Knights will host College Misericordia, who the Knights defeated on the road in over time 14-13 earlier in the season.
