Aston, Pa.--Neumann College midfielder and junior standout Gabby D'Ambrosio, a native of Mount Laurel, N.J. earned All-Region status as she was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Metro Region Second Team announced Thursday.

D'Ambrosio, who broke the all-time free-position goal scoring record at Neumann this spring also set the individual game record in goals and points. She was also a 2008 First Team All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) selection.

D'Ambrosio finished the season ranked No. 7 in Division III in goals per game and led the Knights with 67 goals on the year and 7 assists. She also finished the season No. 4 all-time in draw controls with 73.

Gabby D'Ambrosio was one 224 student-athletes in Division III named to All-Region teams. She is now eligible to be named to the IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-America Team, which will be announced on Thursday, May 29.
