Nichole Christy puts the stop on the Cavaliers

Cavaliers Edge Neumann 1-0

Sept. 17, 2005

Box Score

Aston, PA- Neumann's Elizabeth Raiburn (Strath Haven/Wallingford, PA) and Kelsey Toomey (Laurel Springs, NJ/Highland) combined for 8 saves on the day, keeping the contest scoreless into the 87th minute. However, Cabrini got a lucky break when Collette Walsh was granted a free kick from 18 yards out. That shot hit the post and ricochet back just pass Knights goaltender Kelsey Toomey. With no Neumann defenders in site, Cabrini's Mandy Urgunaft was able to capitalize on a right side open net and score.

The Knights are now 1-1 in the PAC and 4-2-1 on the season. Neumann will host Immaculata University next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
