The Knights opened the second half with strong offensive and defensive play, but at 65:27 Wesley's Kyle Savidge put one past Neumann goalkeeper Kaitlin Agnew, (Philadelphia, Pa.), tying the game at one. At 74:00, Neumann's Casey Geary had received her second yellow card of the game, forcing Neumann to play the rest of the game shorthanded. Knight's goalkeeper Kaitlin Agnew made several crucial saves to keep the game tied at one. The game resulted in 110 minutes of play, including two overtime periods and an end result of a 1-1 tie between the two teams. The Knights next competitors will be Rutgers University Newark, Wednesday, October 4th at 7:00 p.m. |
