ASTON, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its 2007 women's soccer post-season awards and Neumann's dynamic tandem of Casey Geary and Elizabeth Figorski both received all-conference plaudits. Geary, who secured her fourth consecutive league honor, led the way after scoring 21 points for the Knights this season. The Ocean City, N.J. native enjoyed accolades as a 2005 and 2006 PAC Honorable Mention honoree and 2003 PAC Second-Team selection. Geary led the league in shots this season and was in the top ten in game winning goals. Elizabeth Figorski received the Knights nod for the PAC's All-Conference Sportsmanship honor. This award is presented to one individual on each PAC team who has made the most significant contributions to the well-being of the team in terms of attitude, improvement and leadership. The Neumann Knights ended their fourth season, under Head Coach Lisa Benvenuto, 6-12-1 and 4-5-1 in the PAC. |
