Angela Sebasto pitched and hit third-seeded Neumann College past second-seeded Arcadia, 4-3 in nine innings, in the first game of the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championship tournament, Saturday morning at College Misericordia's Anderson Field.

Neumann scored the game-winner in the top of the ninth when Lauren Gallagher reached on an error and advanced to second on Christina Walsh's sacrifice.  Chandra Moore blooped a single to right field and Gallagher came around to score when the ball was misplayed.

Sebasto scattered eight innings and struck out seven over nine innings while not allowing an earned run to pick up the win.  She aided her own cause with a two-run homer in the fourth. Kim Zlupko and Caitlin Hanrahan had two hits each for Neumann while Jaime Bee, Diana Rufo and Kiertsten Hughes all had two hits for Arcadia.

Jenn Compton allowed nine hits and two earned runs while absorbing the loss.

Neumann grabbed a 2-0 lead with a two-out rally in the top of the fourth when Hanrahan singled up the middle and Sebasto drilled a homer to left-center.

Arcadia responded with a two-run, two-out rally of their own in the bottom of the fourth.  Bee singled and Rufo doubled down the left field line.  Both runners scored on a wild throw on Kristin Law's squibber to first.

Neumann took a 3-2 lead in the top of the fifth thanks to a pair of errors.  Samantha Duncan reached second base on an error and scored on an overthrow on Kristine Browning's bunt single.

Arcadia tied the score in the bottom of the sixth when Bee blooped to left and advanced to reach second on an error.  Rufo reached on an infield single and both runners moved up on a grounder to first. Bee scored the tying run on a wild pitch but it was not enough to stop the Knights who took the win. 4-3.
